"You think you've got it so hard..."
"My mother was raped by a demon…she died after giving birth to me. Do I hate my father for raping her in the first place? Yes…I do. With all of my heart…because of my birth, my mother died. At least yours could still be alive you self centered bastard.."

Sato's 'I Love You'
Compassionate:
"So often do we worry about what may happen in the future, that we forget to worry about the present or our own happiness. I am overjoyed to see that, even after all you and your brother have been through, you’re not shutting yourself off from emotion as so many others around us have. You’re truly one of a kind, Mina Rose."

Elizabeth Raegar « Thread Started on Oct 25, 2009, 3:30pm »
Your Character
Name: Elizabeth “Temira” Raegar Character’s Poser: Sakura Haruno from Naruto Age: 74, turned at 16 Birth Date: Lexanous 9th Star Sign: Centaur Species: Vampire Birthplace: Poor District, Malastrana Resides: Keno Occupation: Maid Weapons: Single-hand Long Sword, 20 Kunai
Other Item(s): ~ Gold Pouch ~ Her Grandmother’s Wedding Ring
Family History: The Raegar family name was once considered to be noble in the kingdom of Malastrana, before Elizabeth’s Great Grandmother married a peasant from the poor district. She disobeyed the will of her father, who’d arranged a marriage with his best friend’s son upon her birth. Refusing to marry a man she didn’t love, she was disowned by her family and stripped of all land, titles, and wealth that came with her heritage. Though her husband, Robert Raegar, was not a very wealthy man, they were happy and stayed married until death. They were survived by four children, two boys and two girls.
Personal History: Elizabeth was born to Tammy and Robert Raegar III, and was an only child. Her parents ran a small dairy farm just outside the Poor District of Malastrana, a business passed down by her grandfather from his father. She grew up helping her parents with what she could do at such a young age, and as the years passed and she grew stronger, she worked to help them as well.
Growing up, Elizabeth was not permitted to attend schooling by family rights, since she was a pauper. The only real learning she did was about her father’s line of work, and the little bit of reading and writing that her parents knew. She was taught Common and the traditional Malastrana language, but knows little else.
It was around Elizabeth’s 13th birthday that while out delivering cheese to some of their customers, her mother introduced her to her best friend and her daughter, Alexis. They became instant friends; both poor, uneducated girls with little future ahead of them.
They were inseparable from that moment on. Alexis even came to work on Elizabeth’s family farm – though she claimed it was for the money, she really wanted to spend every waking moment with her. They spent all day together, gossiping and laughing, and all night talking, cuddling and growing fond of each other more than normal girls feel. Elizabeth knew what she felt was more than friendship like with her other friends, but was still too young to understand love.
The cover of night and the romantic atmosphere of firelight was their sanctuary.
Several years passed and the girls kept their feelings for each other a secret from everyone who cared about them. One unfortunate day, however, the girls were caught making love by firelight. To the shock, horror and disappointment of their parents, they were separated and forbidden to see one another. Instead, they were locked away inside their homes until their parents could figure out what to do with them.
Elizabeth’s mother claimed it was witchcraft, but many theories went around.. none ever proven. Their love was not acceptable, that was all they knew. Unbeknownst to their parents however, the girls repeatedly broke free from their cages to once again hold each other before having to return home for another dreaded day in hell.
One day, they escaped their rooms and did not return. Both girls took a sack of belongings and the clothes on their back and disappeared. They took on new names, now known as Temira and Azuna. The only one who ended up knowing their whereabouts was Azuna’s brother, who now went by the name of Darkendal. They had been living in the far off woods on the border of Malastrana and Shalatran in a hut they’d constructed themselves, but they were half-starved and on the brink of some disease that would devour two young girls with no food or clean water.
Darkendal had no choice but to rescue them, and he took them the only place he knew. To Vareth Morrow. It didn’t take much persuading for Vareth to bite and turn the two girls, if anything for his own pleasure and amusement. And the girls wanted nothing more than to be together forever. It all worked out perfectly in the end.
They never returned home.
Temira’s days in the Gang of Morrow were cut short due to the fact that Vareth was never around much, and everyone else had begun to draw suspicion over the years. With Vareth off to join the Nemesis Clan, he had to leave everyone behind, promising to come back for them when he could. That day has yet to come.
So Darkendal split up the Gang, sending groups of people to the far reaches of Durellia equipped only with their life skills and a Plinko to keep in touch. Though most rarely keep in contact, those most loyal to the Gang write regularly to Blank, who knows and keeps track of the whereabouts of every Gang member.
Temira was sent to Keno with Spades and Azuna, where Spades has been scamming rich people out of their life savings while the girls work the Inns across the Kingdom. Every few years they switch Taverns and/or cities, returning when enough time has passed that they won’t be remembered. All had gone well until recently, when Azuna was about to be raped by a Guardsman and Spades came to the rescue, getting himself locked up in the process.
Now the girls wait patiently in Ilsa for word from their elders, and wait for Spades to wait out his prison sentence.
Appearance
Description: Petite. If you don’t know what that is, grab a dictionary. Short, pink hair – presumably the result of cross breeding people from Slavista and Casaand. Fair skin and a soft smile. Bright, green bedroom eyes.
She typically wears a short, red, Andin style dress that splits up to her hips. She wears a pair of knee length black shorts underneath.
Personality: Romantic, Grateful, Loyal, Kind, Suspicious, Judgmental, adventurous, Gentle, and Emotionally Balanced. Temira dislikes hard work simply because she was forced to work on a dairy farm growing up, only to gain nothing out of it. The work she chooses to do now is simple and mindless.
Temira has a bad temper with a short fuse.. she’s not a girl you want to piss off.
Likes: Azuna, Blank, Darkendal, Spades, Rayisale, Vareth and the other members of the Gang of Morrow. Immortality. Feeding. Love. Marijuana and Mead. Animals.
Dislikes: Pigs (as in men.. not the animal), Authority, Pirates, Senseless killing. Animal Abuse.
Additional Information:
Empowerment – Temira’s first ability is based on hit points. For the first 5000 hit points you to do damage in her, some of her statistics will increase by five points to aid her in battle. She is allowed to do this only twice (10,000 HP), increasing her stats by a total of ten points during battle before she has to use her experience to defend her own self. This makes her a formidable opponent for many people in Durellia.
Shriek – When enraged and/or mortally wounded, Temira can belt out an ear-splitting scream that practically breaks the sound barrier. The purpose of this ability (besides letting out some anger)? It throws off your equilibrium and makes you deaf. Sometimes permanently if you’re a mortal, but it generally wears off for immortals after minutes or hours, depending on your age and regeneration. Having a dizzy, deaf opponent is a great advantage to a young girl.
